We use the most advanced technology currently available worldwide as part of our eye exam. This provides us with the most detailed information about your eyes, which in turn means your optometrist can make accurate and timely diagnoses. These assessments will reveal any problems affecting your sight or your health generally and are especially valuable in the early detection of conditions such as glaucoma, age-related deterioration, cataracts, diabetes, high blood pressure or heart problems.
Enhanced eye exam – We believe that not all eye exams are the same. We pride ourselves on providing the most thorough eye exam possible. We fine tune each element to every patient’s individual needs. This allows us to provide the most comprehensive eye exam available for all the family. We have introduced only the most up to date technology into our practice. We have been recognised as one of the top five practices in the UK for the technology we have incorporated into our eye exam. Book your eye exam today and see what our patients are talking about.
We offer 3D-OCT Ocular Coherence Tomography –
Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is a non-invasive imaging test. OCT uses light waves to take cross-section pictures of your retina.
With OCT, our Optometrist can see each of the retina’s distinctive layers. This allows our Optometrist to map and measure their thickness. These measurements help with diagnosis. They also provide treatment guidance for glaucoma and diseases of the retina. These retinal diseases include age-related macular degeneration (AMD), retinal and vitreous detachments and diabetic eye disease.
Optos Optomap Daytona Plus –
The Benefits of optomap
What is Ultra-widefield retinal imaging?
With traditional, small-field, and even widefield retinal imaging, only 10-100⁰ of the retina can be captured in a single image. Optomap is the only true, clinically validated, ultra-widefield retinal image than can capture 82% or 200⁰ of the retina, in a single capture, in each imaging modality – an increase of 50% over the next closest imaging device1. With optomap auto-montage, up to 97% or 220⁰ of the retina can be imaged with the multi-capture, montaging functionality.
DC4 Digital imaging slit lamp – The DC-4 is a digital camera for capturing still images or videos of the anterior eye. This allows for detailed analysis of your eye health by our Optometrist. This also allows us to show you exactly what the health of your eyes look like instantly on the screen.
We specialise in diagnosis, management and treatment of eye conditions. We have the very latest technology which allows us to provide the highest quality eye examination for our patients. We offer various specialised clinics including Glaucoma, Cataract, Age Related Macular Degeneration, Diabetic screening and many other services.
