We can spend time with our patients to ascertain the best possible option, be it Spectacles, contact lenses, treatment or onward referral. We provide the highest level of expertise which is reflected in our clincial reputation. Our Optometrist has further post graduate degrees in therapeutics, independent prescrbing and glaucoma.

We don’t push the most expensive option. We won’t confuse you with offers. We will however help you find the most appropriate solution for all your eyesight needs.

We only stock the highest quality frames and lenses and have options for every budget. We have a large range of designer frames from Silhouette, Sea2see, Gant, Guess and Elle as well as many other brands.

We care passionately about our patients, and have gained a strong reputation for delivering a very high standard of service and friendly family eye care. Many of our patients have been with us over 40 years.

We believe in a tailored approach that lets patients access all the advantages of the latest technology, while being treated with care and consideration. We believe in doing things differently. We have introduced only the most up to date technology into our practice. We have been recognised as one of the top five practices in the UK for the technology we have incorporated into our eye exam. Book your eye exam today and see what our patients are talking about.

We offer 3D-OCT Ocular Coherence Tomography and Optomap Widefield retinal photography.

These enable us to scan your retina and detect/ monitor any early signs of conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma and can also help us monitor changes in many eye conditions associated with diabetes, corneal disorders and even floaters. The significance of detecting such conditions at an early stage means less chance of your eyesight being permanently affected.

In addition to this we also have a Digital Imaging Slit lamp. This enables us to take detailed images of the surface of the eye and has been vital in allowing us to diagnosis and monitor many eye conditions such as Dry Eye , Blepharitis and Conjunctivitis and to track the effectiveness of any treatment.

Enhanced imaging has been integral to our eye examination for the last 7 years. We would recommend these tests to be included for each eye exam you have.

In Scotland, the NHS offers a basic eye examination, at set intervals, for all. They are not able to fund the enhanced imaging that we value as part of our comprehensive eye examination. Fortunatley there are many other opticians that offer standard NHS funded eye exams. The NHS does not fund contact lenses or contact lens assessments.
